Stuart S Burstein, MD, is board-certified in General Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  Dr. Burstein is also an Addiction Psychiatrist certified to prescribe Suboxone for opiates addiction treatment. He is certified as an Independent Medical Examiner by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. He is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric  Association and a Member of the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law. He deals with worker's  compensation, personal injury, fitness-for-duty, FMLA, medical malpractice, criminal responsibility, mental competency, guardianship, testamentary capacity, PTSD, Post-Concussion Syndrome, and other  issues requiring forensic evaluation.  He is a former Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the  University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and he is licensed in Florida, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
